Note #41 : One Day Visit To Melaka

er, tbh not even a day.

In the name of Allah

I went to Melaka/ Malacca (no idea why they have another spelling) today. I depart from KL alone (uh oh, forever alone) at 830am, by bus. My friend recommended KKKL bus, the fare is MYR13.40 (one way fare) and it depart from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). In TBS, the bus is specifically going to southern destination, including Singapore.

I texted my friend i'm already boarding, but unfortuntely the message is not arrive until i am just few minutes away from the destination terminal, which is Melaka Sentral. I reached Melaka Sentral around 1020am. While waiting for my friend to pick me up, i just stroll around the bus terminal. So many things they sell there, looks almost like a bazaar instead of bus terminal. Then i just grab a bread n coffee and gobbled up all since i had only few pieces of nuggets in the morning.

My dear friend picked me up a little after 11, and we went to her thing first, and then straight to Jonker Street. Since Jonker Street is lively at night on Friday- Sunday only, we're just parked the car, took few shots and walk around the tourists shops there. It's intersting. But i only bought 2 keychains which have nothing to do with Jonker Street or Melaka, i bought simply bcs i think it is cute and it has sound and light. lol. I'm so childish here. It's quite expensive actually, MYR 14 for 2 pieces. But MYR 7.90 for one piece. Then we went to A'Famosa, Church ruin, then get the famous Klebang Coconut Shake at Klebang, had a simple lunch.

I was so full after lunch, and was bloated because it was late lunch and i ate only nuggets and bread in the morning. I'm afraid i'll get a gastric. Gotta be more cautious with myself next time. I should've eat as my friend suggested.

I board on 530pm bus and reached KL at about 730pm. I still feel bloated during the journey, luckily after walk a bit i feel better and safely reach home. Haven't meet my friend for almost 10 years. We were still in school when last meeting, and now she's married! I'm so thankful that we're fated to see each other again. Thank you friend for showing me around during my visit and even invited me to come again.

Here are some pics i manage to snap during the visit.
